Shauntia Carson

Shauntia is a May 2026 graduate of Marquette University Law School where she competed in a first amendment moot court competition and served as a class representative for the Trial Lawyers Association. As a future prosecutor, Shauntia “hope[s] to emphasize procedural justice, ensuring that people understand the legal process and feel they have been treated with fairness and dignity, even if they are being held firmly for their actions.

Shauntia is  this year’s Norman S. Early, Jr. Scholarship recipient. She will be joining the fall 2026 class at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago, Illinois, as an Assistant State’s Attorney.
